Thanks for having me, Andrew! I live in North Carolina with my husband, with whom I’ll be celebrating 10 years this year, and our son. Got one more on the way, too! I’ve been writing off and on for most of my life, but I’ve only been in publishing since 2012, and I’ve just released my 7th title. I’m a stay-at-home (work-at-home) mom, since I do both writing and freelance graphic design. More…

Author Interview

What inspired you to start writing?

Probably just the sheer amount of stories floating around in my head. I used to act them out with my friends when I was little, then during my early college years, I finally attempted to start writing them down. Been doing it ever since.

Tell us something about your newest release that is NOT in the blurb.

While it’s not the focus of the story, there’s a side plot about kids being bullied in school, be it because of their looks, their sexuality, or what have you. The art students at the fictional school in the book band together to have an art show to raise awareness about bullying, and I was kindly given permission by Paul Richmond to reference his art for bullying awareness organization, the You Will Rise Project (http://youwillriseproject.blogspot.com/). More…
